An automotive component plant of Nemak to be constructed in the Ulyanovsk Region
An automotive component plant of Nemak will be constructed in the Ulyanovsk Region.
The corresponding investment agreement was signed by the Governor Sergey Morozov, General Director of Nemak, Armando Tamez and General Director of Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation Plc. Dmitry Ryabov. The plant will become the first company’s enterprise in Russia and will produce automotive components – cylinder heads and engine blocks.
“The Ulyanovsk Region gives our company the perfect opportunity, mainly due to the favourable conditions for business development in the region, the availability of experienced production personnel as well as the interest of the local authorities in our project. Ulyanovsk plant will become the part of our global network. It will supply our clients with high technology cylinder heads and motor blocks”, Armando Tamez reported.
