The Russian billionaire and the CEO of Severstal Group A. Mordashov has become the director of Russian Steel Consortium, replacing the owner of NLMK V. Lisin at the post.
The non-commerce partnership Russian Steel unites the Russian largest metal producers. It was founded in 2001 for protection of the interests of the Russian metallurgy companies. The consortium realizes joint projects of non-commerce order. The Russian companies, the members of Russian Steel shares 96% in Russian cast iron and rolled steel and most of products of the domestic metallurgy.
