ZTMK increased sponge titanium production

The Zaporozhye titanium and magnesium combine Ltd., ZTMK, a subsidiary of Group DF increased sponge titanium production by 34.5% to 710 tons in April. In January – April, sponge titanium production was 2,001 tons.

They invested 4.67 million grivnas to their strategic development projects, and 4.73 million grivnas to capital repairs of technological devices. The program of technical upgrading presupposes the gradual investment to construction of the new capacities for sponge titanium production. As a result, annual production can increase to 40,000 tons of products. The growth in capacities will enable the Ukraine to increase the share in the global sponge titanium production to 14% from the current 5%.
