The first deputy general director of Norilsk Nickel - operations director Sergei Dyachenko made a report at the meeting on issues of execution of production and investment programs in 2015, held by general director Vladimir Potanin in Norilsk. He outlined the key tasks for the current anniversary year and the near future.
"Key challenges in 2015 are reorientation of smelting capacities of the company, full launch of Nadezhdinsk metallurgical plant, active preparation for the closure of Nickel plant - from January 1 of the next year its phased withdrawal from service is to begin. Launch of sulfur project should start in 2016, "- said Dyachenko.
