The governor of the Altai region, Alexander Karlin has met with general director of UGMK Andrei Kozitsyn and has discussed with him the issues of the production activities of mining enterprises belonging to UGMK in the Altai region.
They talked about the development of the Korbalikhinskoye polymetallic deposit. The total investment into the project is estimated at 10 billion rubles, to date the investments have made up about 4 billion rubles. About 600 people are employed at the Korbalikhinsky mine. In 2015, it is planned to mine 250 thousand tons of ore; in 2014, the volume of the production made up 68.2 thousand tons.
