NLMK-Kaluga produced 2 mln tons of rolled products

​NLMK-Kaluga (in the structure of the sort rolling division of NLMK Group) produced 2 mln tons of rolled products.

In June 2016 the plant celebrated the production of the 3-millionth ton of steel at the electric steel making shop. Steel is used by the plant for the production of about 20 types and typical sizes of sort rolled and structural steel at the modern rolling mill or is sold in the market.

NLMK-Kaluga was launched in July 2013.

Technological decisions used at the construction of the plant allow to quickly set up the rolling mill for the production of various types of sort rolled goods dependent on the requirements of customers and the market.

The launch of NLMK-Kaluga allowed to cut the deficit of sort rolled products in the Central region and provide the construction sector with the high-quality metal products.
