Kuzbassrazrezugol to enlarge the Bachatsky mine

​Kuzbassrazrezugol has started to prepare for the construction of the 2nd stage of the Bachatsky coal mine. The company will direct almost 1.7 bln roubles for the realization of this project in 2016-2017.

By today the Bachatsky coal mine has reached the maximum borders of the site meant for development by the license – the first stage of the enterprise is completed. The further development of the mine is restricted by a road and railroad, in connection with which it was decided to transfer the existing transport routes. Currently the company has started to prepare for projection for the transfer of a railroad and a road (first part of the 2nd stage).

The project of development of the 2nd stage of the Bachatsky mine is mainly meant to keep the existing capacity of the enterprise – at the level of 9.5 mln tons of coal, the head of Kuzbassrazrezugol, S. Paramonov, said. When the 2nd stage of the project is realized, it is planned to increase the capacity of the mine.
