NLMK plans to overcome the best world ecological rates by 2020

Due to implementation of new environmental projects, Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) plans to reduce the share index of the impact on air from 22 to 17.8 kg per ton of produced steel by 2020.
Thus, according to the press centre of NLMK, the company will exceed the level of the best available technologies, which is currently 18.9 kg/t for an integrated steel plant.

Head of Industrial Ecology Department of NLMK Alexander Kononov told about plans of NLMK at the Interregional Environmental Forum "Business and the Environment", organized by the Lipetsk Chamber of Commerce.
