RMK continues the modernization of Karabashmed

Scale modernization and reconstruction of chemical-metallurgical production is kept at Karabashmed (part of Russian Copper company, RMK). The enterprise carries out gradual operation in accordance with the approved plan “Environmental measures for 2010-2017”. The construction of a new sulfuric workshop, which launch is planned in June 2015, considers almost comprehensive utilization (99.9%) of sour gas of metallurgical production and decommissioning of old sulfuric workshop. A new workshop will be built in accordance with the world eco-standards.
