Mining and metallurgical plant for production of tungsten and molybdenum to be built in Kazakhstan
In January 2015, a Kazakh-Chinese meeting on cooperation was held, which discussed issues of joint projects implementation. By results of the meeting 22 projects were approved, including the construction of a plant of complex alloys on the territory of free economic zone Saryarka, as well as commercial development of molybdenum, tungsten-molybdenum ore at the Koktenkol deposits of the Shet district with construction of mining and metallurgical complex.
"A feasibility study on construction of the complex alloys plant has been already developed, we will submit the document for examination. A general contractor for the development of design works was defined, it will be KaragandaEkspertproekt, - general director of the Karaganda complex alloys plant Talgat Macau informed.
