JSC "EvroSibEnergo" intends to implement a project to build a hydroelectric power station at Telmamskaya, which will provide power for the development of gold deposits at Bodaibo district of the Irkutsk region, including Sukhoi Log, as follows from the words of CEO, Vyacheslav Solomin.
The Irkutsk Region Government is preparing a letter to the RF Ministry of Energy in support of the project.
At a meeting with the governor of the Irkutsk region, Sergey Levenko the head of "EvroSibEnergo" stated that Telmamskaya hydroelectric power plant with the capacity of 400 MW would solve the problem of energy shortage in the northern region. HPP construction period is about 5 years, the press service of the regional government informs.
