“Kurii Gold” to renew extraction at the Novofirsovsky deposit in January

“Kurii Gold” Ltd plans to restart gold mining at the Novofirsovsky deposit in the Altai region in Jan 2016, CEO S. Rudakov said.
The extraction will be carried out according to the approved project plan. We have temporarily frozen the extraction but the enterprise kept working, he said. During the shutdown “Kurii Gold” processed the industrial waste of the gold mining plant of the Zmeinogorsky district.
The recovery of works at the Novofirsovsky mine, which was frozen in 2014 due to large operational expenditure, will be possible due to the gold price rise in roubles in 2015 due to the weakening of the rouble in regard to the world currencies.
