MMK reconstructs the 6th blast furnace

As they stated to “Uralinformburo” at the information and public relations administration of OJSC “Magnitogorsk Iron-and-Steel works”, the blast furnace and cast house are fully overaged. So, there was taken a decision to reconstruct them. In fact, the question is about the construction of a new aggregate. The blast furnace will be demolished. It will be constructed from scratch on a base of an old supporting structure. They are also about to replace the cold and hot blast valve, skip hoist, power-supply system, automatic and other devices.
