Cast iron making in Russia has slightly increased

In January-April 2016 cast iron making in Russia rose by 2% to 1.4 mln tons, while steel output fell by 3.1% to 22.8 mln tons the Federal Service for State Statistics reports.
In April 2016 cast iron making made up 4.3 mln tons having increased by 3.5% against April 2015 but fell by 6.8% against March 2016.
Steel output reached 5.8 mln tons having increased by 1.7% against April 2015 and fallen by 3.6% against March 2016.
