Gazprombank calculates risks and tries to secure itself in the case of Mechel bankruptcy

Gazprombank has requested funds for additional capitalization from the National Welfare Fund. It amounts to 100 billion rubles. These tools can help in the event of bankruptcy of Mechel, the debt of which to the bank is $2.3 billion - analysts polled by the RBC think. According to the Interfax, the Government really discusses the possibility of additional capitalization for Gazprombank through the provision of subordinated loans at the expense of the NWF.
