The Akhtalinsk GOK to increase copper concentrate production to 1.600 tons in 2015.

The Akhtalinsk mining and processing plant planned to increase the production of copper concentrate to 1.600 tons in 2015, Vazgen Vardanyan, the Head of the Department of Mineralogy, stated during the discussions on areas of mining and metallurgy with Karen Chshmaritian, the Minister of Economy of Armenia.

"If in 2013 the number of employees was 650 people, now it is 750-800. In 2013 we produced 1000-1100 tons of copper concentrate, this year's production will be 1.200 tons, and according to the development plan we will increase the production up to 1400-1600 million in 2015", - Vardanyan stated.
