Reinforcement steel consumption increases by 8% in 2013

Reinforcedt steel consumption increased by 8% in 2013, and metal goods production consumption increased by 4%, the CEO of NLMK-Sort A. Burayev says. In January – September, the enterprise sold over 1.1 million tons of reinforcement steel (+12%), including 53,000 tons of rolled steel made by NLMK-Kaluga, and 230,000 tons of metal goods (+5%). The total sales were over 1.4 million tons of metal goods (+10%). This year they are going to producer over 2 million tons of metal goods.
