The output in Kazakhmys is stable

In January-September 2013 Kazakhmys produced 215 thousand tons of copper in cathode equivalent. In Q3, copper production made up 71 thousand tons. The average content of copper in ore made up 0.97%. Stable process of ore production and processing will enable to reach scheduled 285-295 thousand tons before the end of the year.

The output of associated products, zinc in concentrate, silver, gold, is also carried out in accordance with an annual schedule. There has been produced 100 thousand tons of zinc in concentrate in January-September 2013. Silver production is up by 1.4 million ounces to 10.4 million ounces against last year becuase of the exeeding of the raw materials processing limit of the previous year and an increase of recovery factor. Gold production made up 78.2 thousand ounces during this period.
