Norilsk Nickel to create new production of cobalt

Another stage of the project “Cobalt production” has been realized by Kola GMK (an affiliate of Norilsk Nickel). Cobalt cathode shearing equipment has been transferred to the company’s ownership.
Cobalt cathode shearing semi-automated line is an outfit of equipment, consisting of almost a score of elements. Among them are various types of scissors, conveyors, special tables, barrel filling and weighing stations and others. The equipment is up to all the modern standards, inclusive of safety requirements. It is valued at about 120 million roubles.
