Mechel increased loading of universal structural mill at ChMK

In Q1, 2016 Mechel produced 1.041 million tons of steel. It is by 6% less than during the same period last year, according to the company's quarterly report on the results of production and sales.
The smelting of cast iron decreased by 4% to 1.005 million tons during the reporting period, while coal production increased by 3% to 5.663 million tons. The production of cast iron is at the same level against Q4, 2015, while steel production decreased by 4%, coal – went down by 2%.
