Rostechnadzor detected violations at “Osinnikovskaya” mine in Kuzbass

Failure to ensure safe working conditions and low level of production control at the mine “Osinnikovskaya” of Evraz (Kemerovo region) caused an accident. One miner died as consequence. It is stated on the official web site of the Federal Service for Environment, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.
The agency named three main reasons of the accident. In particular, one of the reasons is the absence of wooden props of permanent support and stands of temporary support, which caused rash of rock mass into the working area.
