Alrosa to preliminarily settle $1 bln of debts in 2015

In 2015 Alrosa will preliminarily settle about $1 bln of its debt, the acting President, I. Ryaschin, said.

“With the current rouble/dollar exchange rate the monetary flow will be sufficient for the advance settling of $1 bln debt in 2015”, he said.

According to the schedule, Alrosa will settle bonds in roubles for 20 bln roubles ($334 mln) in June-October. The funds for this payment have already been accumulated on the deposit account, Mr. Ryaschin said.

Alrosa’s net debt as of the beginning of 2015 made up $3.119 bln. 90% of the debt is nominated in dollars. In 2016 Alrosa will have to settle a loan for $435 mln, in 2017 – for $1.09 bln. By the agreement with VTB, the company has postponed the settlement of a $600 mln loan for 2018, which expired in 2014.
