Under the results of the tenders, Izhora pipe plant will dispatch 33,000 tons of large diameter pipes for construction of the gas transporting projects South Corridor and Bovanenkovo – Ukhta (the second branch), and for repairs and production at Gazprom.
The director for pipe production of the steel division, V. Motorin says that Izhora pipe plant is experienced in participation in such projects and each of them is characterized by unique production specifications. In particular, Izhora pipe plant has been one of the first Russian enterprises that developed the technology of pipes production of steel with high durability class of K65.
