Russia and Iran agreed on the exapansion cooperation in the sphere of subsoil use and water resources management

The Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, S. Donskoi, and Minister of Oil of Iran, B. N. Zangene, have agreed on further cooperation of the countries in the sphere of oil and gas extraction, the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia said.

At the meeting with the Minister of Oil of Iran the perspectives of participation of the Russian companies in the oil extraction and oil exploration as well as an opportunity of preparation of Iranian specialists in the oil sector on the basis of Russian schools were discussed.

The use of experience of the Russian geologists in the search on the territory of Iran at the deposits of ferrous and  precious metals, coal and other mineral resources interesting for the economy development of Iran  discussed at the meeting with the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, M. R. Nematadze.
