ChTPZ’s subsidiary sells over 1 million tons of ferrous scrap metal

Last year, sales of ferrous scrap metal by company META (a part of the ChTPZ group) amounted to 1 357 thousand tons, which is by 17% more than in 2013 (1 161 thousand tons). 763 thousand tons of this volume are own scrap, and 594 thousand tons - transit scrap metal. Increase in the sale volumes was connected with the increased of the company’s collection acitivy to ensure the ChTPZ Group’s production of seamless pipes with pipe workpiece, as well as the optimization of work with external contractors for the purchase of transit scrap metal, the company’s press centre reports.
