RusAl Achinsk to pay out 400 mln roubles for pollution

The court settled a claim of the Krasnoyarsk Environmental Prosecutor’s Office and recovered 408 million roubles from “RusAl Achinsk” in favor of the Achinsk district in compensation for damage, caused by pollution of agricultural lands, the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the region states.
According to it, the reasons for initiation of legal action were the results of the prosecutor’s investigation in relation to the enterprises that produce alumina.
