NLMK Group has supplied to OMK 1 million tons of steel uninterrupted cast slabs for production of large diameter pipes at MKS-5000 mill of the Vyksunsk metal works within the Russian largest import replacement project. They announced it at the working meeting of the President of NLMK Group O. Bagrin and the President of OMK Group V. Markin on June 20 2014.
NLMK and OMK closed the contract in August 2012. In November 2013, the companies closed the Agreement about long-term cooperation in accordance with which NLMK will supply to Vyksunsk metal works over 2 million tons of slabs with exclusive demands into chemical composition and metal structure with the type sizes unique for the Russian market in 2014-2016.
