Vice-president of Alrosa to become head of World Diamond Council

In 2016, president of the World Diamond Council (WDC) will be appointed vice-president of Alrosa Andrei Polyakov. He was chosen during the annual Diamond Council in Moscow.

With the support of Alrosa, which is a member of WDC since its inception in 2000, Moscow hosted the annual meeting of the Diamond Council. In its framework the election of the vice-president took place, who, in accordance with the charter of the organization, will be the president of the council in 2016. Polyakov was elected to this position.
