Former owner of Donetsk metallurgical plant goes to law against Mechel

The creator of the group Estar, a former State Duma deputy Vadim Varshavsky has filed a lawsuit against Mechel to the metropolitan court for ownership of its subsidiary - Cyprus company Daveze Ltd, which owns the Donetsk metallurgical plant (DEMZ).
Varshavsky told that two years ago he paid for shares of Daveze Ltd, but never received them.
"Mechel doesn’t transfer me my paid shares, explaining that they allegedly are in the mortgage", - Vadim Varshavsky explains the situation, being sure that the information on mortgage is untrue.
