In 2014, Alrosa increased EBITDA by 36% and proceeds by 23%

In 2014, net profit of Alrosa under IAS amounted to 16.832 billion rubles against 31.837 billion rubles in the previous year. EBITDA increased by 36% to 93.9 billion rubles, the margin EBITDA - to 45%, the company reported.

"The loss was made because of the increase in the negative financial result due to revaluation of the loan portfolio denominated in US dollars because of the devaluation of the Russian ruble in 2014," - the report says.
