NLMK reconstructs its coke chemicals capacities

​NLMK in the framework of the reconstruction of the chemicals shop of the coke chemicals production has started to construct the basement for new equipment shipped for the assembly.

The realization of the project of reconstruction of the shop will allow to decrease by twice the volumes of emissions of pollutant substances of the chemicals shop into the atmosphere, optimize the structure of the shop, improve the technological scheme and production processes and increase by 10% the volumes of production of chemicals products obtained at the processing of coke gas.

The new complex with the capacity of 140 thousand cubic m of coke gas an hour is planned to be constructed at the place of the dismantled equipment of the old shop of biochemical cleaning of waste water of coke chemicals production. It was possible to put the old biolchemical unit out of operation due to the launch in May 2015 of a new unique nature preserving cleaning complex.
