Dmitry Sakharuk, executive director of DTEK Energo, has said that the company doesn’t have plans to acquire coal in Russia in the near future.
According to the director of the largest power company in the Ukraine, owned by Donetsk billionaire Rinat Akhmetov, at present DTEK has financial problems. Due to lack of money the company simply can’t afford to purchase solid fuel for its thermal power plants abroad, including in Russia.
