Concurrently with the announcement of duties on OCTG pipes from 9 countries, the U.S. Ministry of Trade announced the signing of an agreement with the Ukraine on the suspension of duties on the importation of Ukrainian threaded pipes until July 2017. This was reported in the press centre of the steel company-producer of OCTG pipes, Interpipe.
Under the agreement, the Ukraine won’t have to place an anti-dumping deposit, and during the contracts validity anti-dumping duties won’t be charged. The U.S. Ministry of Trade will determine the minimum selling price of Interpipe’s threaded pipes on the U.S. market.
