Russia has recalled certificates for the production of Kremenchug steel making plant

The Kremenchug steel making plant has had to shutdown its activity due to the absence of other sales markets for its production.

On July 23rd the Kremenchug steel making plant will shutdown its production process for an undetermined period of time due to the cancellation by Russia of the earlier issued certificates for its metal products.

The period of the shutdown is not determined as Russia is the only customer of this Ukrainian plant.

It was previously reported that RZD had complained about the quality of the Ukrainian cast products and in late February 2014 the Kremenchug steel making plant was shutdown due to the cancellation of its certificates and only in early July it restarted its activity.
