Coal mining in the Ukraine in March rose by 24%

​Coal mining in the Ukraine (without the Crimea, Sevastopol) in March 2016 rose by 24.3% to 2.5 mln tons against March 2015.

Coal mining in the Ukraine by February 2016 fell by 6%. In Q1 2016, 7.5 mln tons of coal were extracted, which is by 13.4% more than in Q1 2015.

Coal mining in the Ukraine significantly fell from the start of military actions in Donbass in the spring 2014 as the majority of coal mines of the country are located there.

In February 2016 coal mining in the Ukraine rose by 27.1%.
