TMK reduces welded pipe shipment by 5.9%

The enterprises of the Pipe metallurgical company reduced shipment by 1.3% to 3.159 million tons in January-September 2014. The shipment in the third quarter made up 1.1 million tons (+6.7% against Q2), the press-service of TMK reports.
In particular, there has been shipped 1.848 million tons of seamless pipes in January-September 2014, 0.621 million tons – in July-September. The increase made up 2.3% and 3.3% respectively. The shipment of welded pipes went down by 5.9% to 1.311 million tons over this period compared to the same period last year. The shipment volume increased by 11.4% in July-September against the second quarter and made up 0.482 million tons.
