In January-July of 2014, coal mining enterprises of the Ukraine reduced the coal production by 3.1% (by 1 490.4 thousand tons) as compared to the same period of 2013 to 46 323.1 thousand tons.
In January-July, the coking coal production decreased by 9.6% (1 317.6 thousand tons) to 12 435.1 thousand tons, and energy coal by 0.5% (172.9 thousand tons) to 33 887.9 thousand tons.
