Situation in aluminium market to become more dramatic

In H1 2015 China increased the volumes of aluminium production by 12% or 16 mln tons.
June 2015 has set a historical record. In June the production of semi-finished goods and primary aluminium rose by 18% against June 2014, to 2.8 mln tons.
According to Bloomberg, the production of large volumes of aluminium in China only increases a possible surplus in the world market.
Previously the Customs of China have reported of high results of aluminium export in June 2015 – 450 thousand tons.
Analysts of Citigroup say that the offer in the market of China has significantly exceeded the demand but despite this it keeps growing. This is due to a possibility of constant growth of capacities and absence of Government restrictions for production.
