Kazakhstan:Natural Resources Code to be adopted in December 2016

The new Code “On Subsoil and Subsoil Use” will be adopted in December 2016, Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan A.Issekeshev said.
Code “On Subsoil and Subsoil Use” has been developed in the country since September 2013. In June 2015, the managing partner of White&Case Kazakhstan LLP M.Telemtaev expressed confidence during the 6th International Mining and Metallurgical Congress that in August 2015 the concept of the document and the draft of the Code will be approved.
