The Minister of Energy A. Novak says that internal coal demand will rise by not more than 1% annually in Russia. At the same time, growth in coal sector will depend on exports. In connection with that, it’s necessary to develop the transport infrastructure for coal exports and coal chemistry production. Investment to coal sector was 117 billion rubles in 2012 versus 90 billion rubles in 2011.
