Chelyabinsk zinc plant stays at the level of 2014 on the results of 9 months 2015

​The Chelyabinsk zinc plant has confirmed the results of its operational activity in Jan-September 2015.

On the results of Jan-September 2015 Chelyabinsk zinc plant produced 131,013 tons of saleable zinc of Special High Grade (SHG) mark and alloys on its basis – it meets the level of Jan-September 2014 (131,469 tons). 57.8% of the metal was sold in the Russian market (Jan-September 2015-4 – 52.6%).

Nova Zinc LLP, that belongs to the same people as Chelyabinsk zinc plant, on the results of Jan-September 2015 produced 27,185 tons of zinc concentrate, that meets the level of Jan-September 2014 (26,981 tons), lead concentrate – 4,197 tons (Jan-September 2014 – 4,113 tons).

The affiliate of Chelyabinsk zinc plant, The Brock Metal Company Limited (producer of zinc alloys for casting under pressure, UK) in Jan-September 2015 sold 28,647 ton of zinc alloys – by 19% more than in Jan-September 2014 (24,148 tons).
