In H1, prices of metal products, exported by the Ukraine, fell by 7%

According to general director of Metallurgprom, in the first six months in 2014, 11.550 million tons of rolled metal (including 5.480 million tons semi-finished products), 1.350 million tons of cast iron, 415 thousand tons of ferroalloys were exported that made up in comparison with the same period in 2013: 98% of rolled metal, 131% of cast iron, and 123% of ferroalloys, the Interfax-Ukraina writes.

In general, 13.9 million tons of steel products to the amount of $7.2 billion were exported as compared with 13.2 million tons for $7.3 billion in the first six months of 2013 (105% and 98% respectively). The decrease in the revenue was caused by the fall in prices in dollars.
