Placer gold extraction in Khabarovsk region grew by more than twice

​Placer gold extraction in the Khabarovsk region grew by more than twice against the results of the season -2015, the deputy head of the Subsoil Use management of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the region, A. Volkov, said.

From the beginning of the season-2016 the companies extracted almost 560 kg of placer gold. This is by 107% higher than was planned and by 117% higher than in 2015. The growth is by more than twice, he said.

High extraction results are connected with the early start of the season – in early May and the readiness of the enterprises for the season.

According to him, the best results were shown by “Far Eastern resources” and “Vostok” that work in the area of P. Osipenko and Nikolayevsky district of the region.

In January-May 2016, 5.93 tons of gold were extracted in the region, by 8.8% higher than the plan.
