Auction for Sukhoi Log may take place in July

Rosnedra hopes to hold auction for the largest gold deposit Sukhoi Log in the Bodaibo district of the Irkutsk region in late June - July 2016. This was reported by head of Rosnedra Evgeny Kiselyov at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. Interest in the auction was shown by a number of private companies, including Alrosa. In addition, the intent of Rostec and Polyus Zoloto to create a consortium for the deposit is known.
In 2015, the auction’s starting price was estimated at 5 billion rubles, while the cost of the construction of a mine at 100 billion rubles.
