DTEK in search of new markets for Ukrainian coal

The DTEK energy holding of R. Akhmetov has started direct coal supplies to Mexico. In May – June, they will dispatch 22,000 tons of black coal to ArcelorMittal Las Truchas. In 2014, the company has entered the new markets and has arranged coal supplies to the target consumers of 55,000 tons of the coal market in Brazil, 71,000 tons of fat and gas coal in Marocco and 250,000 tons of gas coal in Great Britain. In 2013, DTEK entered the open global freight market and continued successful ships freighting under the optimal market conditions in Q1 2014.
