Cherepovets metal works increases slag dispatch

In Q1, the Cherepovets metal works increased slag dispatch by 8% versus Q1 2013, or by 136,000 tons more than the planned. In March, they set record in monthly car transporting at a rate of 166,000 tons of slags.

In Q1, they supplied to the consumers 548,000 tons of goods including 116,000 tons of steel smelting cellar stones, 224,000 tons of blast furnace cellar stones and 107,000 tons of blast furnace non-sort slag, the products mostly used in car construction
