Polyus launches power transmission line to Verninsky GOK

Polyus has launched the first phase of the 220 kV transmission line of Peleduy – Chertovo koryto - Sukhoi Log – Mamakan, supplying power from the Western energy region of Yakutia to the Verninskoye deposit in the Irkutsk region, the press centre of Polyus reports.
The first phase includes the section of the line of Peleduy - Chertovo koryto - Sukhoi Log of over 280 km lenght and a distribution substation Polyus. Earlier, Polyus planned to launch the first transmission line before the end of 2014 and the estimated investments in its construction at up to $90 million.
