NMTP increased ferrous metals transshipment by 10.4%

Today the NMTP group reports that its consolidated cargo turnover in Jan-July 2014 made up 79.7 mln tons, including: bulk cargo – 5.9 mln tons, general cargo – 7 mln tons, containers – 3.3 mln tons and 408 thousand TEU. The ferrous metals transshipment volume is higher by 533 thousand tons or 10.4%. the growth speed rose 1% against H1 2014.
The CEO of NMTP, S. Batov, said: “We start H2 2014 with new positive tendencies that should strengthen the earlier reached growth by other directions. For the first time from the beginning of the year we showed the growth of coal transshipment by 13.8% at a time. The growth of volumes and acceleration of growth speed of oil products, containers, ferrous metals, timber transshipment goes on”.
