Artillery attacks have led to the shutdown of 4 plants of Metinvest

As a result of strong artillery attacks the power transmission lines of Yenakievo and Khartsyzsk were damaged. It has led to the full shutdown of the production process at the Yenakievo metallurgical plant, Yenakievo Coksochemprom and Khartsyzsk pipe plant. The Avdeevsky coek chemicals plant also stays deenergized.

At the present time due to the active military operations near Yenakievo, Avdeevka and Khartsyzsk it is impossible to recover the power transmission lines. The representatives of the Metinvest group do their best to organize the green corridor for repair teams.

The Yenakievo metallurgical plant is one of the leading world producers of blooms. The Khartsyzsk pipe plant is the largest in the Ukraine and one of the leaders in Europe among the pipe producers. The Avdeevka coke chemicals plant is the largest in Europe high-tech coke chemicals enterprise.
