Steel companies are close to shutdown because of outstanding value-added tax

The state owes 7 billion grivna in terms of outstanding value-added tax to the mining-and-smelting sector of the Ukraine. They say about it in the Federation of Metallurgists of the Ukraine, RBK Ukraine reports.

“According to recent data, the debt makes up 7 billion grivna, of which 6 billion grivna is the debt to metallurgists, 1 billion – to other branches of the mining and smelting sector.
